Division 2, Match 3

My Opponent

What a team we had here, there was quality all over the pitch. As you can see that silver player looked well out of place. That's because as soon as the game started he got subbed off for a special Cavani. The game started and with in an instant, I knew this guy was good. I spent most of the first half defending, well trying too, but his front line was too powerful for me. The half time whistle blew and it was 2-0 to him.

Second half begun and I was determined to take the game to him, at least a bit, in this half. I did to a certain extent but at the end of the day he was just a lot better than me. It stayed 2-0 thankfully and I had been well and truly beat.

Marlos' dreadful performance mentioned that he had to go, so that the end of his career with this team.

Division 2, Match 4

My Opponent

I was up against another really good looking team again here. That TOTS Dembele had come back to haunt me as well. This player is almost impossible to defend against, his pace is unral. Any to cut a disaster first half short, it was 2-0 to him and it didn't look like there was anyway back for me.

Second half started and it was still all him. 65' min come and with a few slick passes into the box, my player was fouled. The penalty was put away by Rodriguez and it was 2-1 to him. I decided to change up my tactics, I started using the wings a lot more and crossing the ball in. The first cross I put in landed straight on Wellitons head, 2-2. I continued using this tactics and it paid off once again in the 83' min, it's was 3-2! I kept it tight at the back and it stay 3-2, what a come back.

SBC

A nice couple of BPL players here, the Brazilian CB will be useful as well, not a bad pack overall. I completed the Real Betis one, as I already had a few of their players.

Perfect start to division 2

Division 2 already it's gone quick, this is where I feel I could start getting severely beat in some matches. I will share the team that line up for me most matches, it has not changed much since the beginning of division 3.

My Team

Division 2, Match 1

My Opponent

This was an interesting looking team, it had a nice mixture of leagues in it. The stand out players were obviously the two attacking Dutch players. Also a pretty solid defence which I was not looking forward to breaking down. The game kicked off and we was away, he took the game to me from the start, making it 1-0 very early on. After that it was a very frustrating first half for me missing a lot of chances.

Second half it all changed, I scored two goal's back to back in the 48' and 50' min. After that he had to go for it, until I put the final nail in the coffin scoring in the 86' min. That was that and I had won my first game in division 2.

SBC

This pack was not great but it did mean that I had one more SBC to do, before I completed the marqee match ups this week.

Division 2, Match 2

My Opponent

A very scary team here, especially the front three, Neymar, Ronaldo and Bale!!!😨😨😨. I knew with these three I was going to have my work cut out. First half started and early on it didn't look good, the first 35' min was me just getting battered. Then I passed the ball into his box (somehow) and he foolishly brought my player down, PENALTY!!! Rodriguez step up and made no mistake.

Second half I knew I was gana have to pull something out the bag and I did. 50' min come, my RM had flew past his LB, only to cross in a ball and for it to be converted by Welliton, 2-0. I couldn't believe how well I was playing, 60' min come and Welliton struck again, weaving his way through the defence. He managed to pull a goal back but it was too little too late, 3-1 it ended.

Danny rose at LB, alway nice to see, that was it really though. What I was excited about was the 84+ TOTW pack I received for completing the marquee match up SBCS. Here's what I got...

What a great day in division 2, I'm gana savour this moment cause I'm not expecting too many more days like this.

Division 3, Match 10

My Opponent

BPL side, no shock here same old players involved, let's get to the match. From the start I knew this game was mine, luckily for me my opponent was not the strongest. One thing he was though, was lucky. I was all over him and up until the 40' min he had stopped, blocked and defended everything I threw at him. Then I scored two goals, 2-0 to just before half time and it felt great.

Second half was tense, he was applying a bit more pressure and I was starting to get worrrid. At one point his Sturridge was pretty much one on one with my keeper. Dalbert caught up, took his legs from under him and walked away with only a yellow card. After that Welliton broke away from the defence and made it 3-0, Game over and promotion was mine.

This win not only secures promotion for me, it also earns me three SBCs:
- one for the win
- one for the clean sheet
- one for promotion

This card was made for my Brazilian based team, I couldn't believe my luck.

FUT DRAFT

Aswel as all these SBC's, I've done my end of season FUT draft, so here's my team.

It wasn't too bad could have done with a better striker, but I was just going to have to make do.

Basically nothing that was gana benefit me at all. But I can use them for SBC's at some point.

Division 3, Match 7

My Opponent

This Bundesliga team look solid, I was especially worry abot Dembele playing in the RF position. During the match these worries come to life as he dribbled past my defence with ease. 20' mins had gone and it was 2-0 to him and I was not having a good time. For the rest of the half he pretty much dominated me and I couldn't see a way back.

Second half started and I had somehow started to take back some possession in this match. I finally carved out a chance and scored, it was 2-1 and I was wondering how I was still in this match. But minutes later he made it 3-1 and really killed my fighting spirit. I managed to make it 3-2 but it was just a consolation, even though by the end of the match I deserved a draw.

From the ratings, you can see that it's time to say bye to Kroos. In my rage I forgot to get a image but I can assure you Kroos is no longer in my club.

Division 3, Match 9

My Opponent

A team with a nice mixture of players in, Ligue 1 & Calcio A, looks like a well thought out team. This was another game I struggled in, for some reason today my creativity had gone out the window. I went one up half way through the half but I still was not performing. Just before the half time whistle, his Dybala run pasted my defence that had decided to have half time early, 1-1.

Second half and still I was struggling to get a firm hold of this game. I was in an end to end battle, which I found myself losing with time against me, 2-1 to him. I didn't feel that this player deserved to be winning and decided at this point I was not gana lose. I battle until the last seconds were upon us and managed to get a goal with pretty much the last kick of the match, 2-2.

These results today have not been great at all. I have left myself with a bit of a task, I have game left and need two points for promotion, which means only a win will do. So come and check out the next blog to see if I can pull it off.

Double win!!!

Divsion 3, Match 6

My Opponent

Since I mentioned not talking about my opponents team unless it was not a BPL team. I have not played against any full BPL teams, but I know its only a matter of time. The game kicked off and before we could even weigh eachother up, it was 1-0 to him, Remy scoring a very lucky goal. After that it was all me, he was getting a little touch of the ball here and there, but that's it. Late on in the first half Welliton broke through and scored, I was relived, as I had a feeling I was not going to score.

Second half and it was the same on the menu, I was applying all the pressure, just falling short when it came to scoring. In the 83' min I finally hit the back of the net again, making it 2-1. For the remainder of the game I did waste time, it felt wrong but I wanted them points. The game ended 2-1, which means I'm safe in division 3.

That win earns me a SBC, let see what I get...

Never gana be great, but these players will be used in SBCs. Also that was 17/18 Liga Nos SBCs so the next one completes the set, earning me 30k and 87 rated Jonas card.

Division 3, Match 7

My Opponent

Nice looking MLS team here, very rare to see. Still very dangerous with Giovinco and Dos Santos up front, both have pace to burn. We kicked off and the game was very even for a long time, both of us missing chances. Then towards the end of the first half he scored the break through goal. I was wondering if I was going to score in this match cause I had my opportunities. The half time whistle blew abd I was left scratching my head.

Second half kicked off and it was more of the same, me missing chances left, right and centre. Finally

With that win I get a SBC and it will be the final SBC for the Liga Nos set. I get a premium silver pack, a special Jonas card and 30k!!!

He fits into my team like a glove, he will be a welcomed addition.

Division 3, Match 4

My Opponent

A very strong BPL team here, yet again. I tell you what, from now I'm not gana comment on my opponent team unless it's not a BPL team. The match started and I wanted to continue my winning form. The way I started this match nothing was gana stop me, scoring within the first 15' mins. Soon after my opponnet got the equalizer he was looking for in the 34' min. Then straight from kick off I made it 2-1, I was back in front instantly. I carried on this good form up until the half time whistle by scoring another, 3-1.

 Second half started and again scoring with Welliton it was 4-1 and my opponent looked dead and buried. At this point he decided to start playing getting a goal back in the process 4-2. Minuets later he was through on goal, so Dalbert took one for the team and tookbthe strikers leg out, just outside the box. He got sent off and my opponent completly missed his freekick. The rest of the game I was defending and the game finished 4-2 to me.

With this win I get a SBC, so lets see what I can get done...

Really bad pack here, none of these players will get used, on to the next match.

Division 3, Match 5

My Opponent

Wow, a team that is not BPL, still a hint of BPL. But you can clearly see this is a french team, a part from Jesus, who if you dont remember I seem to struggle against. So the natch kicked off and it was apparent bery quickly that he was good. He had me chasing shadows with his passing, I just couldn't get the ball off him. Then he went and scored two goals in a short space of time, I thought I was in trouble.

Second half he seemed happy just to pass the ball around and have the occasional shot. But I wern't gana roll over and let this happen, I chased that ball down. Slowly I started to see more and more of the ball, until I had taken control of the match. 75' min come and I pulled one back, 2-1 I felt that I could get a draw, at least. But despite my best efforts, this guy managed to hold on long enough to get the three points.

This loss means I have to say bye to Maicon, my LM, putting in a 6.0 rated performance is not gana keep you in this team.

New look team/A suspicious match?#@!

As I promised you guys I was gana change my team up and see if I can make it into Division 2 with them. So here the team is...

A good looking team, possibly better than my original team, cant wait to use it.

Division 3, Match 3

My Opponent

Another great BPL team here, Aguero and Vardy are definatly gana cause me problems. My new team debut game kicked off and they felt good to play with, there was good pace in the team aswel so I was pretty much walking pasted my opposition. By the 30' min mark it was 2-0 to me and I was flying. Then out of nowhere his kante struck a thunderbolt of a shot, that hit the bar and went in, it was a really good goal. But I was not finished there in the first half, scoring one more before the break.

The second half started and so did the LAG!!!! He come back made it 3-3, it was the 90' min I went one on one with the keeper, his defender took me out, red card and a penalty. I was glad cause he didnt deserve to come back and had been lucky to even be in the match. Then the disconnect message come up, so i thought, he has rage quit, so I get the three points. That was not the case though I got the coins at the end of the game but the game didn't even count!!! I feel this is more than a coincidence and reckon he must have done something for this to happen. Anyone else had this happen???

As I didn't actually win, I can't give myself anything for it, so on to the next game.

Division 3, Match 3 (Again)

My Opponent

Another BPL team here, I'll be honest it does get a bit boring playing pretty much the same teams, most matches. This guy had a lot of pace at the back and was always gana be hard to break down. Early in the game he was all over me, but that was short lived and I soon started putting it on him. A goal from Welliton in the 35' min put me in a good place before half time. Second half was a stroll in the park, I had him on the back foot the whole half, but no more goals. This one stayed 1-0 and a nice three points for mein the league.

This win means I get two SBCs, one for the win and one for the clean sheet.

Nothing special here, just a few half decent players. I've now completed 15/18 Liga Nos SBCs, can't wait to gt my hands on that Jonas and 30k!!!

Div 3 starts over

As I do at the beginning of each division, I will show you guys what my starting 11 is...

After looking at this team, I realised that my team has not changed much for a few divisions now. Well after the two games in this blog, im gana have a change round and see what I can come up with.

Division 3, Match 1

My Opponent

He had a really strong side and most of these players were special cards. The first half kicked off and I was determined I was ganna win my first match. Well that kinda came to a halt after he went up by a goal after 5' mins, after that it was all him. I just couldn't break him down and I was struggling in the 40' min. But the last part of that half was all mine and I finally scored, 1-1 and it was half time. Second half started and I carried on from where I left off. I was all over him and the tables had finally turned, Werner breaking free of the defence again and making it 2-1. Thats how it stayed he started comming back towards the end but nothing that was ganna trouble me.

I won so I get a SBC to complete...

Hardly worth showing but its another SBC off the Liga Nos SBCs 13/18 now.

Division 3, Match 2

My Opponent

Nice BPL team, it's not the side I wanted to see only into my second game in division 3. To be honest I walked the first half and at 2-0 up I was loving life. Second half started and I was shooting from everywhere, without a care in the world. Then the 58'min come and he scored, then the 60' min come he scored again, 2-2. He took the game to me and put me under so much pressure. In the 86' min I finally caved and it was 3-2, 2-0 and I F**ked it up.

Thauvin is the lowest rated so he has got to go.

There goes another decent first team player. Like I said though, I'm gana be back next blog with a new look team, keep reading.
